Ted Paraskevas specializes in the global interactive and integrated marketing services sector. Within this dynamic
area, Ted advises some of the leading agencies pursuing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other strategic capital
transactions.
Ted has earned a reputation in the marketing communications industry for his M&A transactional
skills by uniquely combining business, finance and legal expertise. As a ten year executive of
The Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) including his position as Vice President, Corporate Development,
Ted led and contributed to more than $2.5 billion of acquisitions, investments and divestitures
around the world. Earlier in his tenure at IPG, as Vice President and Associate General Counsel,
Ted led the Law Department's global M&A function and was responsible for the full range of
corporate legal services.
Prior to Interpublic, Ted held positions at the law firms of Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler and
Robinson Silverman.
Ted earned an MBA from Columbia Business School, a JD from Columbia Law School, and a BA from
Colgate University. He attended classes at Birkbeck College as part of the Colgate study group in
London. Ted has been a featured presenter at marketing communications forums on mergers and
acquistions.
